SKNR for pharmacies is the counter workflow, built around what happens when someone walks in. The pharmacist registers a walk-in when a patient arrives without an order, issues a one-time pickup code, looks up a code at the counter and confirms the hand-over. The portal also has an orders inbox and order detail identified by reference rather than by name, and lets the pharmacist mark items ready and check for drug interactions across the whole order.
The pickup code is shown only once, when it is created. Confirming a hand-over does not depend on any external service, so an outage cannot strand someone at the counter.
